Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Chemical Engineering Assessment and Accreditation Committee is to prepare the undergraduate program for accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The duties of the committee started with reviewing/revising the program mission, vision, educational objectives, and student outcomes to ensure fulfillment of the needs meeting the needs of our constituents as well as consistency with the ABET requirement. The committee is also responsible for planning and following the implementation of the process of assessment of the program educational objectives and student outcomes. The committee is also preparing the self-study report for submission to ABET in June 2011 and is also taking other preparation for the Fall 2011 ABET visit.
