Department Committees - Outreach
Mission and Objectives
The Outreach Committee endeavors to disseminate information to the Petroleum Institute’s students and faculty community at large and organize activities that highlight the value of communities, whether academic, industrial, social or cultural.
The Chemical Engineering Outreach Committee shall be responsible for the promotion of Chemical Engineering, its image and message, to the Petroleum Institute’s community. The Chemical Engineering Outreach Committee is deputized to organize the social and academic outreach program as well as enhancing recruitment efforts, to help keep student members informed of various Chemical Engineering activities, awards and scholarships.
The Chemical Engineering Outreach Committee accomplishes its goals through the following main lines of action: Social events within the chemical engineering department Organizing seminars Supervision of the AIChE student chapter and its activities Organizing open days Event reporting on the web Brochures
