Mission and Objectives
- Lab inventory completed (on shared drive).
- Action on mock ABET visit recommendations:
- PRs issued for a number of items of safety equipment
- MSDS available for all chemicals
- Safety manuals now displayed at entrance of each lab
- Safety signs are now up in all labs
- Other recommendations being checked
- White lab coats have been arranged for female students which fit better than the previous garments.
- 5 staff and 1 faculty member involved with labs attended EMR (emergency medical response) training, Q1 2011.
- Two lab staff attended radiation safety training Q4 2010.
