The Chemical Engineering graduate affairs committee consists of the following members:

Committee Mandate
The mandate of the CHE graduate affairs committee is to:
- Develop a strong graduate program including planning a variety of graduate courses and research projects, and matching students research interests with faculty research offerings.
- Actively promote the graduate program around the world and recruit top quality graduate fellowship students.
- Develop and ensure that graduate students meet the entire requirement for graduation in a timely fashion.
- Develop a graduate research seminar series.
Committee’s Current Activities
Academic year of 2007–2008
- The CHE graduate program at the PI started formally in Sept 2007. Currently we have several MEng students registered in the program.
- Current efforts are focused on getting top quality MSc students for the fall of 2008. Direct campaign to potential chemical engineering schools around this region and around the world has begun.
- Placement of an advertisement in the annual graduate education issue of the Chemical Engineering Education is planned.
- Potential collaborative efforts between the PI and other Universities for supporting PhD programs (until we formally offer a PhD program at the PI) is being considered.
