Education
- BSC in Chemical Engineering, American University of Sharjah, UAE (2006).
Profile
I graduated from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) at 2006 with honors. For my graduation project, I worked in natural gas sweetening and sulfur recovery. In this project, which was entitled “Integrated design of Amine Gas-sweetening, Claus Sulfur Recovery, and Tail Gas Clean-up”, the main focus was to keep the emission of H2S to the atmosphere to 4 ppmv, where a new design was proposed in order to decrease the emission concentration below the assigned level. This project won the BP brand value award, a performance Award for School of Engineering student project that best represents setting Global Standards, for the year 2006. I was also involved in several other researches with different fields, such as water treatment, corrosion and Auto-Aerated concrete (AAC) blocks production.
After graduation I worked for a year as a laboratory engineer at AUS, where I conducted several computer and experimental based laboratory classes for all undergraduate levels. I was also involved in a research concerning optimization of ethane recovery using the conventional and Gas Sub-cooled Processes.
I have recently joined PI as a fellow-ship student, where I am currently taking graduate level courses and working on finalizing my thesis topic for my PhD degree.
