• Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering, University of engineering and Technology Lahore (UET), Pakistan (2007)
• Masters of Engineering, Chemical Engineering, The Petroleum Institute of Abu Dhabi (in progress)

Profile:

Mr. Adeel Butt graduated from University of engineering and Technology-Lahore in 2007. He has joined PI in Fall 2010 and is currently working on Integration of engineering and business decisions for robust optimization of petrochemical systems under the supervision of Dr. Ali Almansoori. Adeel has 03 years of experience of working in on of the largest Fertilizer plant project commissioned in december, 2009, Fatima Fertilizer Company limited Pakistan. He worked there as a process engineer in the project phase of plant for three (03) years and was involved in basic enginnering, detail engineering, erection and commissioning. He has versatile experience of working with world Renowned contracting and EPC companies (KBR, Kawasaki plant systems, CNCEC, UDHE, CFIh.. etc) as a client during project phase. 

Professional experience:

• 2010–now : Graduate Researcher, Department of Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Institute Abu Dhabi.
• 2007-2010  : Process Engineer, Fatima Fertilizer Company, Pakistan

 Research Interest:

• Process design and simulation.
• Process optimization and control.
• Process system engineering.

Projects:

• Integration of engineering and business decisions for robust optimization of petrochemical systems (in progress, funded by ADNOC).
• Fatima Fertilizer Nitrophoaphate plant (basic engineering, detail engineering, procurement and construction).
• Steam Detoxification of organic waste using steam reformer (B.Sc project)
