  • M.S. Chemical Engineering, KFUPM, KSA (May 2005)
  • B. Tech. Petrochemical Engineering, AMU, India (June 2002)

I joined the Petroleum Institute as a teaching assistant (TA) in the Department of Chemical Engineering in January 2006. Before joining the Petroleum Institute, I worked for the Chemical Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) for more than 3 years. During my stay at KFUPM, I contributed in various research projects funded by Saudi Aramco, SABIC and KACST. I have published 3 refereed journals papers and 10 research papers in international conference proceedings.

At Petroleum Institute, I am primarily involved in assisting junior and senior level chemical engineering laboratory and theoretical courses. As part of laboratory courses, I have introduced new experiments and have developed student handouts. Following is a list of courses that I have assisted/participated;

  • CHEG311: Unit Operation Lab-I
  • CHEG371: Unit Operation Lab-II
  • CHEG201: Principles of Chemical Engineering Calculations
  • CHEG301: Chemical Engineering Fluid Mechanics
  • CHEG361: Chemical Engineering Heat Transfer
