Profile
Bianca became a member of the Chemical Engineering department in March 2010, when she started as a research and teaching associate in the group of dr. C.J. Peters. Before joining the PI she was a PhD-candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she worked on the development of a kinetic separation process (named FricDiff) for the purification of alcohol-water vapor mixtures. Her scientific interests are in the fields of thermodynamics, transport phenomena and separation processes.  Her current research project is focused on predicting the phase behavior and thermodynamic properties of systems with asphaltene.
