Profile
Dr. Hui Zhao joined The Petroleum Institute in September 2011 as a research / teaching associate in the department of chemical engineering. His current research work involves modeling complex multiphase reaction flow in typical refinery processes, e.g. FCC. During his Ph.D. program at China Academy of Science, P.R.C he was engaged in simulating flow behavior of bubbly flow in gas-liquid and gas-liquid-solid (slurry) reactors. Prior to joining PI, he was working as an Associate Professor at China University of Petroleum in Qingdao, China.
