PROFILE

Dr. Wang joined PI in Feb 2011. His previous employment includes: Assistant Professor in School of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering and in School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; STA/JSPS fellow in AIST Center-5, Tsukuba, Japan; Research Associate in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his PhD in the University of Queensland, Australia; and his Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering Department, Zhejiang University, China.
Dr. Wang started/participated a number of research projects, such as methane/hydrogen storage in carbon nanoparticles, cleaning of fume gases from cooking processes, developing novel polymer-nanocomposite materials, water disinfection with nano-metal particles, and bio-separation with natural polymers/adsorbents. He has published more than 60 research papers in scientific journals and a few book chapters. He has also supervised 5 more PhD students and a few postdoctoral research fellows.
