Education:
Degree in Chemical Engineering in University of Alicante (Spain), 2009
Profile:
I graduated from the University of Alicante in 2009. During my studies, I got an scholarship to study as exchange student during one year at T.U. Delft (The Netherlands) where I worked as a researcher assistant in ternary system phase behavior of ionic liquids with CO2 and organic solute. For my graduation project, I designed a pilot-plant scale reaction and separation system for the hydrogenation of a pharmaceutical compound using an ionic liquid as solvent and supercritical CO2 as extracting fluid.
I did my graduate internship in SABIC Innovative Plastics sited in Cartagena (Spain) improving the heat exchange efficiency of the plant doing a pinch analysis of the process.
I recently joined the PI as fellowship researcher assistant. I am working on the thermodynamics of acid gas separation from gas natural using ionic liquids.
