On Tuesday October 18th, AICHE organized a demonstration that was conducted by Dr. Paul Rostron in one of the Arzanah chemistry labs. He gave a brief PowerPoint presentation on soap making and then a hands-on demonstration of how to make it. The students that attended got to see a step by step procedure on how to make home-made soap that can be even better that are sold commercially. Overall the students were amused and found it intriguing. A competition was announced where the students are going to be given a month to make their own soaps at home and bring it to compete. Dr. Paul Rostron distributed the soap the next day when it was ready.
