Department Mission and Description
The mission of the Chemical Engineering Department at the Petroleum Institute is to provide a world-class education in chemical engineering science and practice, and to produce graduates and future leaders who are capable of meeting or exceeding the needs and expectations of PI sponsors from oil and gas, and broader energy industry. In addition, graduates will engage in life-long learning that will enable them to keep abreast of and effectively contribute to their advancement in the profession.
