Facilities
The Communication Department provides a range of teaching, audio-visual and computer facilities to its faculty and students. Facilities in the department include fully-equipped communication classrooms and Writing Centres in both campuses.
Communication 
classrooms
Each classroom is well-equipped with networked computer workstations, an overhead projector, a wall-mounted screen, and a document reader. The physical design of the classrooms supports required team work and the development of communication skills. There are round tables provided for team discussion of projects and a computer workstation for each group.
Computer laboratory
Students and staff of Communication Department have access to computer laboratories conveniently located in Room 4001 (ground floor, Umm Shaif) and 8027 (ground floor, Arzanah campus). 
Students can use the laboratories for independent work and faculty can book the laboratories for conducting classes. The laboratories have networked workstations, overhead projectors, laser printers (black/white and colour), document readers, and wall-mounted screens. In the computer laboratories, students have access to a range of software for word-processing and presentation. Students can also access the Internet and online library services.
Writing Centres
The Communication Department offers students tutorial support to help them to develop their academic and professional writing skills through Writing Centres. Writing Centers are in Room 2-228A (ILC, male campus). The Writing Centre for female students is located in Room 8-241 (Arzanah).
