Research Interests
Dr. Scott has held faculty positions at both The Colorado School of Mines (CSM) and The Petroleum Institute (PI) over her 15 year career in engineering design education and retains a relationship on both campuses as one of the principal investigators in the PI/CSM initiative, “Preparing Global Engineers: Developing Engineering Design Education Across Cultures.” Research interests and publications focus on engineering design education in the Middle East and the US, intercultural communication, and educating engineers for global practice.
