Welcome to the
Mathematics Department

In our Department, we make relentless efforts to create a helpful environment where students can progressively become proficient users of mathematics and its applications. We have a tradition of providing excellent instruction in mathematics and, moreover, the department is contributing to enabling students to become life long learners and to function as dynamic, productive and innovative citizens.
We offer an extensive curriculum that includes such courses as calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, advanced engineering mathematics, probability and statistics, numerical analysis.
All classrooms are computerized and students have access to modern computer laboratories. The Mathematics Department recognizes the significant involvement of technology in contemporary instruction, and uses graphing calculators, a variety of software packages, and online support for its courses.
All our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced instructors with a broad range of educational backgrounds and experiences and have extensive research expertise in a wide variety of areas. Research strengths of the Department include nonlinear analysis, nonlinear functional analysis, rearrangement theory, fluid mechanics, integro-differential equations and their applications, asymptotics, limit theorems, integral transforms, numerical analysis, and numerical solution of differential equations.
Our faculty continues to grow as teachers and scholars, while providing public and professional service.
