David Thomson is the AUP English Coordinator. He joined the PI in 2003. He has been teaching English to speakers of other languages for more than 20 years. He has taught in the UAE for about 14 years, and previously taught in the United States, Japan and Saudi Arabia. David earned his Masters degree in TESOL at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont USA. He is particularly interested in teaching English for academic purposes and the lexis used in academic texts. In his free time, he enjoys reading, eating and following the failures of the Seattle Mariners baseball team.
