Dr. Asli Hassan is an Assistant Professor in English for Science and Technology at the Petroleum Institute (PI) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In addition, she chairs the Curriculum Development and the Cross-Disciplinary Professional Development Committees in the AUP (Advanced University Placement) Department at the PI.
Prior to coming to the UAE, Dr. Hassan taught English, trained language and content teachers in the US for more than 10 years.
When she is not teaching, Dr. Hassan loves learning new languages, reading nonfiction books and traveling to exotic places around the world.
