An American from the windy city of Chicago, Laura Lau loves working and living in the UAE and at the PI and has since 2005. Fascinated by different cultures in different languages, Laura spends her time observing and recording – with a digital camera and a camcorder - the sights and sounds of Abu Dhabi that she later turns into movies. Married to a petroleum engineer who also works at the PI, she works hard helping AUP students learn how to talk like a petroleum engineer – in English of course!!!
