Brief biography:
Mr. Shahid obtained his bachelor in “Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering” and master in “Manufacturing Engineering” from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. He holds Presidential Gold Medal for his extraordinary performance during his bachelor studies. Mr. Shahid holds three years of teaching experience to undergraduate classes. He has hands on experience of operating and maintaining the conventional and non-conventional machine tools. He has also worked in the Manufacturing Technologies Development Centre (MTDC) in Pakistan before joining the Petroleum Institute. His research area is machining of metals and polymer composites and currently he is working under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Ahmad.
