Dr. Al Hajri is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He earned his PhD in 2009 and since then he has been very active in teaching, services and research. His research is in the fields of energy, HVAC and oil/gas industries. His research focus is on microchannel heat and mass exchangers design, micro reactors, process enhancement, waste heat recovery, HVAC and energy efficiency and renewable energy applications. His research group is currently involved in several project such as: waste heat recovery utilizing microchannel heat and mass exchangers absorption systems, gas sweeting inside microchannel reactors, and polymerization inside microchannel reactors.

Dr. Al Hajri is also the National and International Collaboration coordinator where he overlooks the various academical and industrial collaborations and agreements for PI at the national and international levels. At this capacity he is allowed to plan, organize, facilitate and sustain the different initiatives and programs of the agreements.
