Dr. Günister Canbaz holds a Ph.D. in synthesis and characterization of biopolymer/clay nanocomposites from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey. She worked for seven years as a research assistant at Physics Department of Istanbul Technical University. She has published 11 journal papers and has published/presented 24 conference papers at various conferences. Her current research activities are in the areas of advanced polymeric composites and mechanical properties of polymer-clay nanocomposites.
