Is internationally recognized for his work in enhanced heat and mass transfer in heat exchangers and energy systems, has conducted many research projects for both industry and government, published over 140 refereed technical papers, has four patents two of which are licensed to industry, is fellow member of both ASME and ASHRAE, and has won numerous awards from both societies. He is a member of ASME Technical Planning Committee; past chair of the Potter Medal Award Committee. He was recently featured in the technology section of Washington Post for technology transfer efforts.
