Since 1991 Dr. Voulgaris has been with the faculty at the Univercity of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he is a professor in the department of Aerospace Engineering and in the Coordinated Laboratory. He is known for fundamental contributions in the areas of robust and multi-objective control and estimation, and distributed control. He has published over 100 refereed publications in journals and conference proceedings and has been funded for numerous research projects from government and industry.
