2011-05-25: ME National Faculty Members Receive Rashid Award for Academic Excellence |
On May 25, 2011, ME Assistant Professors Dr. Ebrahim Al Hajri, Dr. Hamad Karki, and Dr. Mohamed Alshehhi, were awarded the Rashid Award for Academic Excellence by the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The event was organized by the Cultural and Scientific Association and held at their headquarters in Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed encouraged the prize-winners to continue to contribute to the fields of science and knowledge by paying close attention to their studies.
Also attending the event, which honored a wide array of academics and educational leaders, were Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The ME department congratulates its colleagues on this prestigious achievement.
