2011-09-10: The ME department welcomes Dr. Fahrettin Ozturk.

Dr. Fahrettin Ozturk joined the Petroleum Institute (PI) as an Associate Professor. He received his B.S. in 1992 with the highest grades among the graduates in Mechanical Engineering from Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey and his M.S. in 1996 in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Dr. Ozturk received his Ph.D. in 2002 in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY, USA. He worked part-time for General Electric Research Center for three years. He taught several courses in RPI. Before joining the PI, he was working as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department of Nigde University in Turkey.
