The PI Well Control School offers
Certificate of Well Control and
Blow Out Prevention (BOP)


This five-day course is accredited by both the IADC's Well Control Accreditation Program (WellCAP) and the International Well Control Forum (IWCF).
The PI well control school curriculum addresses three levels of well control responsibility appropriate to a Surface Stack:

  • Supervisory level (advanced driller, toolpusher, superintendent & engineer)
  • Fundamental/Driller level (trainee driller & driller)
  • Introductory level (derrickhand & oilfield support personnel)
