Professional:
- Carbonate diagensis, dolomitization, carbonate sedimentology and geochemistry, reservoir characterization, environmental isotope geochemistry
- Over 70 referred publications on geochemistry, paleoclimatology, diagenesis and porosity evolution in carbonate reservoirs.
- Served as Associate Editor for Journal of Sedimentary Research and edited one Special Publication for J. of Geochemical Exploration. Has given courses and performed consultant work and research collaboration with numerous oil companies around the world.
