Professional:
Before joining the PI, I worked in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia.
Major responsibilities included IT Management for the geophysics research group, set up of systems for research lab, system administration, development and maintenance of departmental and project websites, implementation of OpenMP, MPI, Scons in C/Python via Madagascar, Management of 20TB storage shares, Seed Fund Management.
Previously worked with CosmoSeis Petroleum Services (Middle East) in seismic data processing and technical systems administration. Also conducted seismic data processing training courses, seismic processing projects in 2D, 3D and transition zone as well as basic interpretation projects using Petrel and Geographix.
Research Interests:
Zone of interests include Seismic Stratigraphy, Seismic Structural Analysis, near surface geophysics and groundwater research.
