Professional:
My Ph.D. thesis was on reservoir characterization and more specifically dealt with the estimation of petrophysical properties using 3D scanned core plugs.
The main goal was to use core plug Computed Tomography’s (XRay) in order to:
- Create an automatic core facies description based on textured images
- Create synthetic logs for several petrophysical properties through image modeling and a learning process.
The current research project is dealing with Rock physics. The main goal is to make computational simulations models for fluid substitution in carbonates and validate them experimentally.
