Professional:
- Accomplished several research projects in seismic data processing and depth imaging for the oil exploration industry
- In seismology, accomplished a depth imaging project of the crust under the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (LITHOPROBE) leading to the mapping of the depth of the Moho
- Wave propagation in porous media and experimental rock physics expert
- Developed experiments and models for wave transmissivity and reflectivity in porous materials
- First laboratory observation of a slow P-wave converted from a shear wave
