On Tuesday November 20th, students and instructors of PGEG401 visited Schlumbeger MLC (Middle Eats and Asia Learning Center) as part of a complementary activity to the course. The host, Mr. Ashok Srivastava, kindly showed us the facilities, explained some of the main principles of the tools, and facilitated the access to the different areas of study, guide by their leaders. Students were exposed to some tools explained in class, and learned about a few new ones. They observed different sizes of tools, and some of the electronics. They were brought closed to the training wells, tools, and equipment calibration. They were in the borehole  used for training. In conclusion, this visit contributed to enhance students' understanding of tools and equipment used in well logging.
