- Use geophysical techniques (seismic reflection, seismic refraction, gravity and magnetic) to:
- Determine the subsurface structure of the survey area (Al Hiyar, east of Abu Dhabi).
- Determine the location, geometry and depth of the possible Semail Ophiolite thrust sheet in the survey area.
- Determine the location, orientation and geometry of any faults in the survey area.
- Correlate the surface outcrop to the subsurface structures using geological, geophysical and well data
- Map the water table and/or top of bedrock using seismic techniques
