Energy Conservation Initiatives
PI Energy Conservation and Carbon Footprint Reduction Committee (PIECCFRC)
Chaired by Dr. Clarence with representation from faculty, staff and students, the PI’s Energy Conservation and Carbon Footprint Reduction Committee (PIECCFRC) is working on various initiatives that are aimed at reducing PI’s carbon footprint and conserving energy. Other members of the committee are: Dr. Caroline Anne Brand, Vicky Nelson, Robert Craig, Mahmood Shehada, Susanne Herrmann, Lana El Chaar, Amer Abdulhadi Salmeh (Student President-PI Environmental Club) and Abdul Lateef Khan. The committee meets once a month or as required to discuss various strategies to reduce PI's carbon footprint and energy consumption.
