Mar 29, 2011: The PI HSE Department announced the ‘PI SUSTAINABILITY AWARD’ winners.
The PI HSE Department announced the ‘PI SUSTAINABILITY AWARD’ to all employees and students on July 06, 2010. The intent of the Sustainability Award was to:
• encourage PI-wide involvement
• increase awareness on energy sustainability and carbon footprint
• reward contributions for sustainability initiatives at PI
A judging committee was formed with representation from the PI HSE Council and the PI Energy Conservation and Carbon Footprint Committees.
The Renewable Energy Group was declared the winner and the submission from WISE received the runner-up award. Both projects were also submitted for the ADNOC HSE Annual Awards - 2010.
