Jeyalal Jeyaseelan is currently working as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Assistant at the petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before joining the Petroleum Institute, Jeyalal was a Safety Officer (Oil & Gas) in heavy engineering construction projects like Oil Storage Terminals construction and Off Shore Piping at Nico International Hydrospace LLC, Fujairah. Before joining Nico International, Jeyalal was a HSE Engineer in underground pipeline laying projects at Overseas AST Company LLC(AST) , Dubai for two years. Prior to AST, Jeyalal was a Safety officer for Marson BioCare  Pvt Ltd which is an Bio- Fertilizer manufacturing plant in India for two and half years. Jeyalal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India. He had completed NEBOSH (International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health), UK. and an Registered Safety Advisor by Nakeel –EHS, Dubai. He is an Authorized trainer for OSHA 30Hrs Outreach Training on Construction Safety By US, Dept. of Labor. Having completed the Lead Auditor Training in OHSAS 18001:1999 Jeyalal’s area of interests includes HSE Management Systems, HSE Trainings and chemical hygiene.
