Sreeja Unnithan holds Master degree in Biotechnology from the Bharathiyar University, India with specialization in animal biotechnology.

She started her career as Lecturer in Biotechnology with MG University, Kerala, India. Later joined Jubilant Biosys Ltd, a drug discovery company as Scientist. There she focused on providing innovative informatics and structure-directed drug discovery solutions to accelerate the process of global pharmaceutical drug discovery. Before joining PI, Sreeja was working as Hygiene Officer with Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi, where she was responsible for an integrated Food safety management system. She has completed Certificate course in Human Resources & Administration, HACCP Internal Auditor, ISO 22000:2005 Lead Practitioner/Implementer, ISO 9001:2000 Lead Practitioner/Implementer, Intermediate Food Hygiene Training and is currently pursuing NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management.
