01/Jun/09: PI HSE was one of the award recipients honored at the 2008 Annual HSE Awards dinner last night at the Sheraton.

H. E. Abdulla Nasser Al Suweidi, Deputy CEO and E&P Director said “Bright people are critical to our success. The main purpose of the HSE award Program is to recognize these people and thank them for their exceptional efforts.”
H. E congratulated all the winners for their efforts and presented the awards. Invited guests Dr. Ohadi, Dr. Nadia and Dr. Palmer were also in attendance with team HSE.

Background: The ADNOC HSE Awards are open to employees of ADNOC group companies as well as contractors providing services to ADNOC group companies. Award submissions are accepted for work that has already achieved and/or completed in specific award year. Awards are presented in six categories: Health, Safety, Environment, HSE performance, Sustainable development, Innovation.

Judging Process:  An independent contractor will conduct the first round of judging. The scores from the first round of judging will be used to rank the submissions and identify recommended winners and runners-up in each category. The second round of judging will involve the ADNOC CEO and Directors who will confirm the recommended winners and runners-up. Judging criteria includes quality of submission, performance enhancement, transferability, reputation, innovation.

2008 HSE Award Submissions by Category: A total of 175 submissions were for the 2008 ADNOC HSE Award.



PI HSE team is the runners-up under the category on Sustainable development for our submission – “An Occupational Carbon Footprint Program for Energy Consumption Cost Reduction
