The Petroleum Institute HSE department announced the following awards at the 8th Annual PI Community Celebration Dinner at Sheraton on 8th June 09.
Dr. Paul Rostron was awarded HSE Faculty of the year 2008 – 09 for his dedicated and outstanding contribution to Health, Safety and The Environment.
Afshha Ahmed was awarded HSE Staff of the year 2008 – 09 for the most number of relevant Health, Safety and Environmental submissions.
The above two awards involved stage recognition and a cash award.
Muhammed Abdul Rahman (left) and Sheikh Mohammad Ali were tied for second place with three submissions each.
