26/Oct/2010: PI Petroleum Geosciences students win 3rd place in the SEG global challenge bowl on October 18th, Denver, USA
Congratulations to Saif Ali Al Mesaabi and Osama Al Zinati for winning the third place in the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) global challenge bowl at the SEG Annual Meeting in Denver, CO, October 18th.
PI Petroleum Geosciences students were invited to the event after winning the first place in the regional competition held at Geo2010 in Bahrain earlier this year. The organizer of the event commented on the fact that the Petroleum Institute consistently had teams that reached to the finals during the last three years. The students received congratulations by Abdulmunim Saif Al Kindy, ADCO-CEO and Deputy Chairman of the PI Governing Board.
