15.02: German Student Delegation Visits the PI
A group of German High School students visited the Abu Dhabi Education Council this month at the invitation of the H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council.
The students were keen to learn about the UAE education system at high school and university level and of the oil and gas industry and its effects on UAE society. The Abu Dhabi Education Council chose the Petroleum Institute and Glenelg School Abu Dhabi as examples of excellent educational institutions in the UAE.
The PI German Club presented the Petroleum Institute and showcased oil & gas engineers educated and trained to the highest standards at the PI for future employment in the industry in the UAE.
