15/Feb/2011: Dr. Ihsan Al Aasm, Professor of Geology, receives the CSPG Medal of Merit for 2010
The Canadian Society of Petroleum geologists (CSPG) will be awarding the CSPG Medal of Merit for 2010 to Dr. Ihsan Al Aasm, Professor of Geology at the PI, and his co-authors of a recently published paper entitled “Depositional facies framework, evolution and reservoir architecture of the Upper Devonian Jean Marie Member (Redknife Formation) in the July Lake area of the northeastern British Columbia”. This award is given annually to authors of the best paper published in the journal of the society during the previous year on a subject related to petroleum geology. The medal will be presented during CSPG Annual Meeting in Calgary in May 2011.
