01-03.11: SAOGE 2009 Conference, Dammam, KSA.
Dr. Gabor Takacs, Professor at the Petroleum Engineering Department, chaired the session “Alternative Energy and Sustainability” at the SAOGE 2009 Conference in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, November 1-3, 2009. The second Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference, following on from the success of the 2008 launch event, welcomed exhibitors representing 30 different countries and included two national pavilions for Italy and China. The Conference included three panel discussions, three technical sessions and two sessions in the “Industry Meets University” program where students from the most prominent universities in the region focusing on Oil & Gas and Engineering took part.
