Opening of new student facilities in Satah and Arzanah:
Recently 2 new student centers opened in both our male and female building.
Students now have an exceptional space in which to relax and enjoy themselves, away from the pressures of study.
Apart from comfortable couches and a positive and colorful atmosphere the ASAB Student Center has the following entertainment facilities:
- a billiards area to play snooker and pool
- a computer game area with both Xbox and Playstation consoles
- numerous large TV sets to watch sports events
- plenty of computers with high speed internet connection
- several fussball tables, darts boards and other games
The student center is completely managed by students.
Opening hours: Sunday-Thursday and Saturday 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm
The Arzanah Student Center has a Blue, a Yellow and a Green room.
The Blue Room is a lounge for relaxing. It is a quieter space where students can read, watch movies and use computers. The Yellow Room, on the other hand, is a game room, where students can let off steam by using a Wii, PlayStation, playing babyfoot or one of the many board games, such as Monopoly, Chess and Pictionary.
Both rooms were expertly designed and decorated, and students have commented that the result is stunning. The rooms include funky but stylish furniture, interesting lighting and art work, elegant mirrors, smart coffee tables, fun bean bags and trendy rugs. There is even a water feature in the Blue Room. Students can obtain a range of quality refreshments from a vending machine nearby.
A third room, the Exercise Room, provides students with space in which to work out. It is equipped with a full range of up-to-date exercise equipment including treadmills, rowing machine, weights and cycles, as well as a dart board. There is also a useful open exercise space where aerobic classes will be offered in the future including a state-of-the-art audio system to provide that extra motivation. Showers and changing rooms are also available, equipped with useful items such as hotel-style hairdryers.
